The United States saw its deadliest mass shooting in history in the early hours of June 12, 2016. A lone gunman opened fire on the dance floor of Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, Florida, a predominantly gay nightclub celebrating “Latin Night”. 50 people died in the tragedy and another 53 were injured.

Alisan Porter Wins Season 10 of The Voice
Alisan Porter will now be known as a winner of The Voice along with being Curly Sue. Porter, who famously played the title character in 1991’s Curly Sue alongside Jim Belushi, was crowned the winner of season 10 of NBC’s The Voice last night.
