The Moonlight Ramble is a leisurely bike ride through downtown St. Louis at midnight.  The route is secret until the night of the event but you can choose between a 10.5 mile ride and an 18.5 mile ride.  Registration for these events almost always includes a t-shirt, but this one glows in the dark.

Originally scheduled for last weekend, this event was postponed due to extreme weather forecasted, which is awesome for you because they also extended the registration deadline to Monday September 10th.

What: 49th Annual Moonlight Ramble

When: Saturday, September 15, 2012 (Re-scheduled Date)

(Meet between 9:00p – 11:45p on Saturday night; Ride starts at Midnight)

Where: Corner of 8th & Cerre Street just south of Busch Stadium & Ball Park Village

Who: All ages are welcome to participate (* riders under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.)

The ride benefits Cardinals Care and Hostelling International.  If you are really in the athletic mode and don’t require much sleep, you could also run in the Cardinals Care 6K on Sunday morning.  Registration for that ends Sunday September 9th.  This one is especially appealing to Cards fans since the finish is inside Busch Stadium.
