Art Outside At Schlafly Bottleworks-The Alternative Art Fair

It’s time once again for the battle of the juried art fairs. No, not really, but there are two amazing art fairs this weekend. I’m not focusing on the big one as once again my heart belongs at Art Outside, the alternative art fair.
Why is it alternative…well you could say it’s unpretentious. It’s packed with 50 local artists featuring affordable art, lots of live music and of course local beer; this event is for the locavores. Maybe a touch pretentious, it is an art fair, but this fair is for those who care more about the painting than the price tag. Don’t just believe it is good art because someone marked it with a several thousand dollar price tag, hang on your wall what you love. The art is amazingly cool. You can check it out here.
I didn’t make it last year but I am planning to be there Saturday afternoon. As of today the weather this weekend looks like it should be amazing for walking around outside.
