¡Un fabuloso evento viene a San Luis este fin de semana!  (I hope that is correct – blame the Microsoft translator) The Greater St. Louis Hispanic Festival is coming September 7, 8 and 9. This year the Festival will be held in a new location, Kiener Plaza in downtown St. Louis.

As always, admission is free for this family event. There will be live Latino bands, folkloric dances, and art. There is also a Kids Corner and plenty of vendors offering authentic food fare and crafts as well as information for you.

All the fun begins this Friday.  The festivities are happening on both Friday and Saturday from 10am to 10pm and Sunday 11am to 8pm.  The welcoming Ceremony begins on Saturday September 8th at 3:30.  Fredbird will be the Parade Marshall of the parade of Hispanic Nations that begins at 4:00 on Saturday at 7th and Chestnut immediately following the welcoming ceremony.

In addition to the great entertainment above, some things I am looking forward to include handmade, eco-friendly gifts from Bee Zee Market and the showcase from Lowrider Club Luxurious of St. Louis.
