Father’s Day is this weekend (June 19, 2016)! I can’t wait to see all the golf courses full, the air smelling of great barbecue, yard games, and tasty dessert.

So, now is the time to order your special gift if you haven’t already. Do you find yourself getting him the same thing each year?  How many ‘I Love You Dad’ mugs or button down dress shirts does he really need (at least one or two mugs for sure :))?  Here are some options in easy categories courtesy of amazon.com if you have a hard-to-buy-for husband/dad:

Man and Child Having fun in the park.

The Tool Buff

The Outdoorsman

The Yard Pro

The Grill Master

The Sports Enthusiast

The Home DIYer

Good Luck! Make sure to order soon to get your new fabulous gifts before this weekend!

If you need a place to go on Father’s Day, make sure to check out St. Louis businesses and restaurants with specials just for Dad here.

  1. Thanks a lot for the links. I have a pretty good idea of what I’m going
to do for my dad on Father’s Day now. I bought him a Tailgater from Dish last
year, and was having trouble thinking of something he’ll use as much for this
year. Instead, I was thinking of just taking a few days of vacation off from
work at Dish to take him and a few other guys camping. A few months ago, we
went camping in his RV and he used his Tailgater to watch all of his sports on
ESPN. I can’t begin to describe how cool it was being able to see this and eat
dad’s homemade BBQ sauce. So I think that will make use of the Tailgater and we’ll
    be spending time together!

  2. My dad is for sure a DIY Dad. He can never have enough tools. Want to reupholster a chair? Guess what? He has all the tools to do it. Build a a garden? He has everything you need (even a composter). So I’m definitely intrigued by the DIY ideas. If I can find something he doesn’t already have, its a successful Father’s Day.

  3. Finding gifts for Dad can be a real challenge! These offer some unique ideas so hopefully you both can find somethings great. Camping on Father’s Day is a fabulous idea, my dad loves the outdoors – thanks Damon!
