GO! St. Louis Marathon & Family Fitness Weekend: The event is Missouri’s largest competitive fitness event and includes a marathon, half marathon, marathon relay, 5k run/walk, children’s fun runs and a mature mile plus a 2-day fitness expo. The Marathon & Family Fitness Weekend has become a national model for other running organizations and communities, looking to inspire residents to make community wellness a priority.

Bud Shop Presents Under The Stars: Shop and sip under the stars this April as the Bud Shop hosts its 2nd Annual Charity Event on the Beer Garden patio in Budweiser Brew House. Support the HavenHouse St. Louis, a hospitality house with the mission to provide the comfort of home and community of support to patients and their families traveling more than 25 miles to receive care, while enjoying complimentary Stella Artois Cidre, and Small Bites as you shop with 6 other local boutiques. Featured stores include: The Bud Shop, Lusso, La Ville, Paisley, Splash, Klutch and Giddyup Jane. Event also features live music from Evan Cole, goodie bags to the first 50 guests and complimentary parking!

Alpha Brewing Co’s 3rd Anniversary: Come share a brew with us and celebrate our 3rd Anniversary Party. Due to the popularity of last year’s anniversary party featuring beer floats, we’ve decided to do it again. This year we are partnering with Clementines Creamery to bring you two beer floats with our two anniversary ales. In addition, we will be tapping 2 new beers: The Sagwa Imperial IPA, 10% 120 IBUs with Double Chocolate Ice Cream Float, and Rouge Baer Raspberry Sour Ale Aged in Red Wine Barrels with Raspberry Sorbet Float.

Anheuser-Busch Repeal Party: Commemorate the 83rd anniversary of the Repeal of Prohibition at The Biergarten. Tickets are $33 and include: Commemorative Glass, Budweiser, Michelob and Faust beers, Music by The Big St. Louis Band, an appearance by the World Famous Budweiser Clydesdales at 7pm, food and additional beer available for purchase. All guests wearing 1930’s period attire will receive a commemorative 1933 labeled Budweiser bottle.

St. Louis Blues: The Blues play the Washington Capitals Saturday night. It’s Fan Appreciation week so all fans will receive a scratch off ticket(must be at least 18 years old) and a team poster at the game. There will be a pre-game rally held at Clark Avenue Plaza. Enjoy music from McLovin and celebrating the final game of the regular season. It’s also McDonald’s Family Pack Night. Family Fun Day at Ballpark Village: Enjoy a large carnival style family festival with rides in the new location on the Ballpark Village west parking lot. The carnival will include over 20 activities including performances, rides, inflatables, games, face painting, music, Fredbird, St. Louis Ambush, STLFC, and more! Admission into the event is free but certain premium activities require a $5 all-access wristband. Once the $5 all-access wristband is purchased, kids can enjoy all activities the entire day as many times as they wish! 100% of ticket sales will benefit Stray Rescue of St. Louis!

the live art project: Missouri Weinstrasse presents THE LIVE ART PROJECT on Saturday, April 9 at City Hall. Regional artists will create live art in front of all attendees, who will have the opportunity to bid on the art throughout the night. Entertainment includes live music, light hors d’oeuvres provided by MC Catering & Events and a cash bar. The event is free to attend and the proceeds will benefit the City of Chesterfield public art projects.

Festival of Colors Holi 2016: Join the largest Holi celebration in town. Lo-Fi Cherokee: One of the most unique events in the city. Lo-Fi St. Louis will be producing eighteen live music performance videos in as many locations as possible in a single day. They’ll begin at 9am and shoot a new video about every half hour until eighteen performances from some of the most interesting and diverse musical acts you’ll see anywhere have been captured. It will be a day of discovery, celebration, and fun, so come out and watch. There will be a wrap party with Madisen Ward and the Mama Bear at Off Broadway following the video shoots.

Repticon St. Louis: A reptile event featuring vendors offering reptile pets, supplies, feeders, cages, and merchandise as well as live animal seminars and frequent free raffles for fun prizes. Tickets are: $10 (Adult), $5 (Ages 5-12), ages 4 and under are free. Or go VIP for $12 and get early admission and product samples from ZooMed.

St. Charles

Builders St. Charles Home Show: This annual event features 350 booths for visitors to learn about the latests products and services for your home. This Home Show showcases a wide range of products and services: windows, doors, fencing, siding, decks, spas, gardening equipment, patio rooms, kitchens, baths and so much more! Local experts will be offering seminars including: gardening seminars by Charlie Nardozzi, horticulturist, writer and radio/TV personality. There will also be a sausage and wine tasting event, a $500 prize giveaway, and a family fun area. The Show offers free admission and free parking.

Augusta Brewing Spring Thaw Fest: Come out to Augusta Brewing Co for a chili cook-off and mini beer fest. Augusta Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the cook-off. Tickets are $5. Beer fest tickets are $10 and include a commemorative glass-taste beers from home brewers. Enjoy live music from Allsup, Grossi, and Halley. There will be bonfires with s’mores and special release beers. Proceeds benefit Focus Marines Foundation serving Wounded Warriors.

However, one day when she is married and has a family to cook for, she would love to take cooking classes and learn awesome skills like the chefs on Iron Chef America...as long as she doesn't have to clean the dishes afterwards.
