Missouri vs Auburn for SEC Championship

With one second to go and the Iron Bowl tied, it looked like Auburn and Alabama were destined to  head to overtime. “Bama decided to attempt a 57-yard field goal. The kick fell short and into the arms of Auburn’s Chris Davis. Davis took off and made it 109 yards untouched for the win. Auburn will play Missouri for the SEC Championship next Saturday at 3pm. Auburn is #3 in the latest BCS standings followed by Alabama at #4 and Missouri at #5. Florida State and Ohio State are currently on track to play in the BCS National Championship Game. Florida State plays #24 Duke this week and Ohio State takes on #10 Michigan State. Missouri needs to beat Auburn and have either Florida State or Ohio State lose in order to play for the National Championship. Paul Walker Dead

Actor Paul Walker died Saturday afternoon when the car he was riding in crashed and caught on fire. Walker,40, leaves behind a 15-year old daughter. He’s best known for his role in The Fast and the Furious movies. He also had roles in Friday Night Lights and The Skulls among others. Paul was in Southern California for a charity event to benefit Philippines typhoon relief effort. Shelby Miller Got Hitched

The former Amy Peters, new wife of Cardinals pitcher Shelby Miller, wore pink cowboy boots during their recent wedding. It happened on November 16 at River’s Edge Resort in Eminence, Missouri. Peters’ family owns the resort. The New York Times had the announcement.  Here’s their wedding website.

Amazon to Deliver By Drone?

Jeff Bezos, the CEO of Amazon, had a lengthy interview with Charlie Rose of 60 Minutes that aired over the weekend. They talked about how Amazon works and where it’s going. Bezo’s big surprise? They are working on a system where drones would deliver your packages in 30 minutes or less. It’s still 5-10 years away though. The Twitter-verse had some pretty funny things to say about the idea.
