Florissant Gem: Deaver’s Restaurant & Sports Bar

If you are a “soccer mom” or any sports parent in the Florissant/Hazelwood area, then you know about Deaver’s Restaurant and Sports Bar; located at 2109 Charbonier in Florissant. It is another one of my Florissant Gems.
Derek Deaver and Ryan Pinkstin opened the restaurant in 2003. Since then, they have been noted as Best Neighborhood Bar in North County by the RiverFront Times and “#1 Bar & Grill in North County” by the Suburban Journal.
On any given weekend, don’t be surprised to see a soccer team or a little league baseball team enjoying some sliders, fantastic chicken wings or the Ziggy Burger!
They have great specials and an awesome happy hour. Their outdoor patio is equipped with patio heaters for comfortable outdoor dining. You can’t beat the outdoor patio in the spring!
They have a game room that keeps the kiddos happy and the grown-ups may partake in a cold beverage. There is definitely a family feel when you walk in the door. It is the neighborhood restaurant. When you walk in the door everyone has a smile and all the servers there are on top of their game. Most of the time, you’ll run into someone you know.
There is a banquet room in the back that can be reserved if there is a special birthday or soccer tournament celebration!
The menu has recently been updated and they have added some yummy items like the Stan the Man Burger that is served on a pretzel bun!
If you find yourself in North County, stop by Deaver’s Restaurant & Sports Bar for a bite to eat. If it’s a Friday, there’s a good chance you’ll run into my family enjoying our Florissant Gem.
