Let me start with The All-American Rejects! They’re performing on Saturday, Sept. 29th @ 9:30pm

And Macy Gray! She performs on Friday, Sept 28th @ 9:30pm

When did Taste of St. Louis become so cool?

On top of the awesome music line-up, some of the coolest chefs from the Food Network (we all know I love me some Food Network), Tom Pizzica of Outrageous Foods and Marc Bynum from Chopped will make appearances as part of the celebrity Chef entertainment and Chef Battle Royale. That, along with the Battle of the Food Trucks on Saturday at 4:30pm in front of the Peabody Opera House, are just a couple more reasons Taste of St. Louis is going to be awesome this year!

Then of course, there’s the food…Oh the food!

45 St. Louis restaurants serving up some of their most delicious delicacies. While I won’t cover the whole list here, you can download the menu to prepare yourselves ahead of time as to your plan of attack. I can tell you from experience, you must get some of Pappy’s ribs, a Soulard Gyro and Hard Rock Cafe’s twisted mac ‘n cheese. I’m a little sad Bella Catering isn’t on the list. Their kick ass fries were

my fave! However, Oceano Bistro will be there with seafood rolls, scallops and BBQ oysters on the half-shell, so I’ve found my replacement. Food items range from $3-$7 and you can pay with cash or credit card (at some restaurants).

Then there’s the Other category

–The fun, interactive exhibits from Dodge/Ram, XBox Kinect, Missouri Lottery (I won a sweet coozie last year) and Mobili-tees, who will be there to help you create your one-of-a-kind Taste of St. Louis 2012 t-shirt!

–The Art & Wine Walk

–The Entertainment for the Kids

And the best part…this is a FREE event. The music, the entertainment, the art…all free! You only pay for the food! Oh how I’ve missed you, Taste of St. Louis.

Jessica

Doesn’t know how to cook and survives pretty much on macaroni and cheese and pizza, so naturally, loves to eat out at restaurants. However, one day when she is married and has a family to cook for, she would love to take cooking classes and learn awesome skills like the chefs on Iron Chef America...as long as she doesn't have to clean the dishes afterwards.
