My roommate had an extra pink piggy bank left over from her sister’s baby shower. We did not know what to do with it.

Our solution:

It now sits on the top of our piano to collect change for the homeless.

Once a month, we are going to take the change (and hopefully paper bills too) out to buy a meal for a homeless person. Maybe we will have enough to give them some other necessities as well.

I am super excited!!

We may just be two young girls in an apartment. But…hopefully we can help someone in need through a silly idea.
