What Makes a Welcoming Home

I find that what makes a home warm, welcoming, and inviting is its pets. My dog Tony(pictured), came to me from a humane society’s pet adoption day being hosted at a local PetSmart store.  He greets me everyday at the front door with these loving, soulful eyes, and his little tail nub wiggling from side to side, unable to contain his excitement to see me. I can’t imagine anything more welcoming than that.

Maybe a black lab mutt with a nub tail from a humane society isn’t your style, but picture opening your front door after a stress filled day and being greeted by your version of Tony. Maybe your version is a cute, curly haired poodle, or an overweight, shaggy haired St. Bernard. The exterior may be different for everyone, but underneath it is the same unconditional love.

Doesn’t know how to cook and survives pretty much on macaroni and cheese and pizza, so naturally, loves to eat out at restaurants. However, one day when she is married and has a family to cook for, she would love to take cooking classes and learn awesome skills like the chefs on Iron Chef America...as long as she doesn't have to clean the dishes afterwards.
