Quarterback Case Keenum threw four interceptions, including one of his final pass of the game. To Keenum’s credit, wide receiver Brian Quick appeared to run the wrong route on the play. On another interception, the ball bounced off receiver Travon Austin into the hands to New York’s Landon Collins. Collins weaved his way into the end zone for a Giants touchdown.

A column in the Los Angeles Times yesterday called for rookie Jared Goff to replace Keenum despite coach Jeff Fisher’s insistence that a quarterback change will not happen.

California Soldiers Forced To Pay Back Enlistment Bonuses

Thousands of Americans that served with the California National Guard are being forced to pay back their enlistment bonuses, putting many in dire financial straits. The bonuses were paid a decade ago when the need for soldiers was at an all-time high. Investigators have found widespread fraud and corruption throughout the country, but it as more widespread in California.

Much like how unrealistic targets led to the Wells Fargo scandal recently, enlistment targets were also what led to the fraud and corruption in this case. Soldiers that served multiple combat tours are being forced to pay back bonuses of $15,000 or more as well as interest. Failure to pay can lead to wage garnishments.
