Kim Kardashian Robbed At Gunpoint By Fake Cops In Paris Hotel Room, Kanye West Cuts Festival Set Short
Kanye West abruptly canceled his set at the Meadows Music and Arts Festival in New York mid-song yesterday, citing a “family emergency.” Shortly after, it was revealed that his wife, Kim Kardashian West, was robbed at gunpoint in her Paris hotel room.
Five men dressed as police officers and wearing masks robbed Kim Kardashian West at gunpoint yesterday in her Paris hotel room. The men, who are still at large, made off with $11 million in jewelry. Kardashian West was left unharmed by the attack, which took place in the early hours of Monday morning local time at a private mansion.
The thieves gained access to the private apartment after threatening the building concierge with guns, handcuffing him and forcing him to open the apartment. Kardashian West was in Paris with her mother and sisters for Paris Fashion Week. Reports do not say if the rest of the Kardashian plan was with Kim during the incident.
A report for E! says that while five men attacked the concierge, only two men gained access to Kardashian’s room. They bound and gagged Kardashian while she begged for her life. Her children were not in the room. She was able to free herself after the robbers got away and immediately got on a plane to leave Paris.
French Twitter was pretty vicious to Kardashian West, including one tweet that translated to:
““Kim Kardashian had 10 million euros worth of of jewelry stolen. The actual news here is that you can just walk around carrying 568 years of minimum wage.”
No word of where Kardashian’s security personnel was, if she had any, or if any paparazzi photographers were able to get pictures of the assailants.

St. Louis Cardinals Miss Out On Postseason
The St. Louis Cardinals won their final regular season game of the 2016 season yesterday, beating the Pittsburgh Pirates 10-4. Unfortunately, the San Francisco Giants beat the Los Angeles Dodgers and secured their spot in the postseason. This season will be the first under manager Mike Matheny where the team has missed qualifying for the playoffs.
It was previously announced that the Cardinals will not be picking up Matt Holliday’s $17 million club option. The kind-of-weird tribute to Holliday came to a close in the top of the ninth inning yesterday as Matheny sent #7 out into left field by himself.
John Oliver Takes On Police Accountability
John Oliver focused on police accountability over the weekend on Last Week Tonight. One of his main points is the need for more data on police officers around the country. He also pointed out how hard, but necessary it is to weed out problem officers.
He also pointed out how awkward Mary J. Blige was with Hillary Clinton, which definitely needed to be said.
