Update: Are you looking for the best places in St. Louis to watch Super Bowl 51 on February 5, 2017? Check out our updated post here.

Super Bowl Sunday, a fun day for all. Some love it for the commercials (Puppy Love), some for the food (see Super Bowl Worthy Snacks) and some for the half-time show…Katy Perry! Woo Hoo!…with special guest Lenny Kravitz.

Did I miss anything?…Oh of course, and some love it for the football.

Regardless of why you love to watch it, the most important thing is having a great place to watch it. A lot of people like to throw a party at their home, have friends over and watch it on the big screen. However, for those who don’t have a big enough space to host a party, a big tv, or…friends (just kidding), but seriously, here are some great places to watch this year, enjoy!

Ballpark Village: FOX Sports Midwest Live! is hosting the ultimate big game experience that includes cheerleaders, contests, live music, and giveaways all centered around a 40 FT TV! They are offering table reservation packages starting at a 4-top for $160 and up to a 10-top for $400. Table reservations include buckets of beer and appetizers like wings, pretzel bites, sliders, and nachos.

Budweiser Biergarten: Win tickets to hang out with Rizzuto, Patrico, Burton, and Moon from 105.7 The Point at an exclusive party in The Biergarten. Superbowl XLIX with a few hundred of your fellow Point Ninjas, tons of food, prizes, a giant flat screen TV being given away at half-time, and ice-cold Bud Light all under the giant heated tent of the Biergarten. They’re giving away tickets every day so your chances are good.

The Post Sports Bar and Grill in Maplewood: $10 bucket specials all day on Miller Lite, Coors, and Coors Light, plus appetizer deals, $3 bomb shots, and late night happy hour specials. They have TVs all over the place and plenty of seating. Last year they gave away a trip to Vegas after the 3rd quarter so who knows what they’ll be giving away this year!

Flannery’s Super Bowl Bash: Half price apps, $10 domestic buckets and pitchers during the game! Fried chicken special all day! Plus Super Bowl Squares. They open at 11am (1320 Washington Ave).

Super Bowl at The Office Lounge: The Office on Delmar will have a complimentary buffet featuring BJ’s BBQ, plus $5 premium drinks including Patron, Remy, Ciroc, and Grey Goose, and 2 for 1 beer specials. Call ahead for table & booth reservations: 314.761.7834.

Just John in The Grove: They are hosting a Super Bowl party starting at 5pm and will have $3 Bud Light and Bud Select bottles, $3 Jager shots, attendance prizes, and free food at half-time. They have 16 TVs and 2 big screens and plenty of seating.

Rich’s Place in St. Charles: Opens at 1pm. Bring your favorite Super Bowl snack. There will be food, drink specials, free jello shots, and fun for all.

The Wheelhouse: The downtown location is hosting a Super Bowl party. For $30, you get a buffet, domestic beers, rail drinks, and a square in the Wheelhouse Squares Game. They have 36 HDTVs and a great game menu including roasted bar nuts, soft pretzels, Italian sausage, Philly cheese-steak sandwiches, and more.

Big Bowl XLIX at Big Daddy’s (Landing): $30 includes all beer, wine, call, premium and energy drinks (no shots) starting half hour before kick off until the end of the game. In addition, they will have a custom nacho and hot dog bar from the 2nd to 4th quarter. Big Daddy’s has two 10 ft projector screens with surround sound. There will be tons of giveaways, contests, and DJ Flyin Brian will start the post-game party. The Soulard location will also be hosting a $30 drinks + appetizers party.

The Sports Page in Chesterfield: They have a ton of TVs and large screens, plus Wi-Fi. They also have sports video games, billiards and darts. They have the perfect Super Bowl Sunday menu with chili, wings, burgers, beer battered apps, and more. They will have beer specials during the game and a complimentary buffet at half-time plus other fun sporting stuff.

Over/Under on Wash Ave downtown: They have 37 HDTVs and great food. My favorite dish is the mac & cheese. You can get it with crab and/or bacon. It’s so delicious! It’s also a great sports bar to relax and enjoy the game.

Ozzie’s Sports Bar and Grill in Lumiere Place Casino: It’s huge and has over 50 high-def TVs and a huge drink selection including over 100 bottled beer choices, not to mention amazing food, including a variety of wings…pus the Sizzling 7 Wing Challenge. They’ll be open starting at 11am on Sunday.

For those who need to get up to speed before Sunday rolls around, here’s a quick update: Super Bowl XLIX (aka 49) is Sunday, February 1st at University of Phoenix in Glendale, AZ with Seattle Seahawks vs New England Patriots. Kick off is at 6:30E/5:30C on NBC. Broadway star, Idina Menzel will sing the National Anthem with John Legend singing “America The Beautiful.” Katy Perry will be performing for the half-time show. Oh, and there’s Puppy Bowl XI on at 3pm on Animal Planet, which is a pretty big deal. You can even make your own Fantasy Puppy Bowl Team.

If you know of any other places that are having a Super Bowl party and/or offering great drink specials on Sunday, let me know!

Doesn’t know how to cook and survives pretty much on macaroni and cheese and pizza, so naturally, loves to eat out at restaurants. However, one day when she is married and has a family to cook for, she would love to take cooking classes and learn awesome skills like the chefs on Iron Chef America...as long as she doesn't have to clean the dishes afterwards.
