Some of you may know the Wednesday night before Thanksgiving as Thanksgiving Eve, some may know it as Blackout Wednesday or Super Wednesday, and others as Skanksgiving. No matter what you call it, it is the most popular party night of the year.  As such, I created a list of some great St. Louis hot spots that are hosting awesome parties this year.

Big Wednesday at Silver Creek Saloon in Belleville: Three rooms, three bars, a huge covered outdoor patio, and a great dance floor. The Well Hungarians will be performing and DJ Robbie G will keep the party going until 2am. Great drink specials and great fun.

Drinksgiving at Molly’s in Soulard: We’ll be rocking the night away with DjOlSkewl on a heated patio, DJ Dv5 in the 808 lounge, fog machines and a whole new light show to make the night even more awesome. Check their Facebook page for more info including drink specials.

Gobble Wobble: Join Budweiser Brew House on Thanksgiving Eve for  Gobble Wobble III! The event is free to attend and includes $4 Stella Cidre and $5 Tito’s and Cranberry drink specials, a DJ and prize giveaways from 6-9pm. Plus, guests can donate 5 or more canned goods or $10 at the door to support Food Outreach and receive a complimentary Thanksgiving Buffet from 7-9pm.

Guns ‘n Hoses at Scottrade Center: The Budweiser Guns ‘N Hoses event, an annual event which will be bigger and better than ever, features three-round boxing matches between area Police Officers and Firefighters to raise money for The Backstopppers, Inc. The after party is at PBR in Ballpark Village with free shuttles to adn from plus dancing by the world famous Buckle Bunnies, $3 Jack Daniel’s family drink specials, and more.

Jive & Wail: The Maryland Heights dueling piano bar will feature live entertainment, plus no cover charge and drink specials all night. Party starts at 8pm.

Thanksgiving Eve at River City Casino: When all else fails, go where DFR goes. Dance Floor Riot will be performing at River City Casino starting at 8pm. Drinking, dancing, and gambling, sounds like a great Thanksgiving Eve to me.

Have fun and be safe!

Doesn’t know how to cook and survives pretty much on macaroni and cheese and pizza, so naturally, loves to eat out at restaurants. However, one day when she is married and has a family to cook for, she would love to take cooking classes and learn awesome skills like the chefs on Iron Chef America...as long as she doesn't have to clean the dishes afterwards.
