One of the bonus rounds of living in a large city (said the country raised girl) is the opportunity to be involved in charitable events that have meaning to your life and help others. St. Louis hosts tons of charitable golf tournaments, bicycle races, runs, walks, dance marathons, cooking contests-the list goes on.
This past weekend was one of the largest races, The Susan G. Komen Race For The Cure. Races like this remind us that there is power in participation, regardless of your level of ability. So, whether you can walk, run, organize or cheer someone on, there is probably an event out there for you! I found some upcoming races and thought I would share them. If there is one you know about that isn’t covered here (regardless of size,) please let us know about it in the comments section so we can be part of the support team!
