Drinks in a Movie Theater—YES PLEASE!!!

OK, I’m going to reveal a lot about myself in this post. I love movies!! I could spend an entire weekend with just marathons of movies. Rarely am I in control of the television in my house, but on those rare occasions when I’m home alone I usually watch movies (or more likely let one of my favorites I’ve seen lots of times play while I go about doing chores etc.). I also am known to enjoy an adult beverage from time to time when I am out.
The greatest movie theater ever is located right on Lindell Blvd in the old Moolah Shrine Temple. It is the most amazing theater: leather seats and couches, watch the movie from the balcony, go the the lounge and get a drink before or after the show or BRING YOUR DRINK INTO THE THEATER AND SIT ON THE COUCH!!!
If you check out this St. Louis treasure, arrive early to check out the building itself. It is a sight to behold! Or make time for bowling downstairs, that’s right a bowling alley!! It feels like a throwback to a bygone era with giant movie theaters when going to the movies was an experience!! The buildings were like palaces.
Right now “The Rum Diary” is playing and how awesome is this? “V for Vendetta” will be showing on ….drum roll……November 5th (and November 4th at midnight)!!!! Plus for those fellow zombie lovers, you can watch “The Walking Dead” for FREE on Sundays.
