Brand name vs Generic Brand

This is a short list of things that I prefer not to buy a generic brand of and instead go for the trusted brand that I recognize.
With cereal, sometimes you find hidden treasures. I can hear my brothers voices in my memory asking my dad for “scooters” for breakfast not “cheerios”. They did taste just like cheerios and were much cheaper. For me: I don’t want fake Captain Crunch-I want the real thing.
There are also plenty of people who will not buy the cheaper medication/vitamins because they fear they will not work as well. When in reality, sometimes they work just as well or even better. I have fallen under this category plenty of times.
