So guess what I did last weekend??
I crossed the first thing off my bucket list for 2011…skiing! Sadly, I’m 27 years old, and have never been. It was so fun, and also amazingly terrifying! If you haven’t been, I’m suggesting you go…this weekend!
Here in Missouri, we have our very own Hidden Valley Ski Area. It’s in Wildwood, Missouri, about 45 minutes from dowtown St. Louis.
Granted it’s no Park City, Utah, with real snow and postcard picture mountains, but I can tell you from experience, if it’s your first time skiing…smaller is better. Plus, they have a tube ride called Polar Plunge, which sounds outrageously fun, and something they did not have in Utah.
Make a day of it, they’re open all weekend, and it’s the perfect skiing weather. Dress warm, stay safe, and good luck. If I can do it, you can do it!

Doesn’t know how to cook and survives pretty much on macaroni and cheese and pizza, so naturally, loves to eat out at restaurants. However, one day when she is married and has a family to cook for, she would love to take cooking classes and learn awesome skills like the chefs on Iron Chef America...as long as she doesn't have to clean the dishes afterwards.
