Fake candles…
That’s right, I said it…fake candles. They’re actually known as flameless candles. They’re battery operated
and are becoming increasingly more popular. I’ve seen them in every restaurant I’ve been to in the past 2 months. I’ve always had candles in my apartment for decoration, but rarely light them. I think the concern about forgetting to blow them out or wax dripping on the counter or table has been the issue. However, that is all going to change this Christmas because I have asked for a set of flameless candles. They come in tea light, votive, and pillar sizes, perfect for setting in the window at Christmas time, or leaving on as a decoration in the bathroom or kitchen and can be decorated like a real candle, with garland around the bottom, or on/inside a cute little candle holder. They even “pretend” flicker, which is my favorite part. You can find them just about anywhere: many online stores, Pottery Barn, and Target just to name a few. Target even has colored ones.
No more worries about burning down the apartment or wax drippage for this girl.

Doesn’t know how to cook and survives pretty much on macaroni and cheese and pizza, so naturally, loves to eat out at restaurants. However, one day when she is married and has a family to cook for, she would love to take cooking classes and learn awesome skills like the chefs on Iron Chef America...as long as she doesn't have to clean the dishes afterwards.
