What To Stream: Saved By The Bell
99 episodes of Saved By The Bell are now available to stream online through Hulu thanks to a deal the company struck back in February with Universal Cable Productions. From the first episode that originally aired as part of the series Good Morning, Miss Bliss to the episode where Zach, Screech, Slater, Jesse, Lisa and Kelly finally graduate from Bayside High, it’s all available to stream.
Good Morning, Miss Bliss originally premiered on July 11, 1987 on NBC, but we don’t really count that episode. That first episode only aired once, it’s no where to be found in any syndication set and it didn’t include Zach or Screech. That original episode has been uploaded to YouTube in three parts. Saved By The Bell actually first aired on August 20, 1989. The first episode featured a dance contest at teen hangout The Max.
It’s hard to believe there were only four seasons of the show when in today’s landscape the characters in a show don’t really have to age if the show is successful. Through those four years, we grew attached to main characters Zack Morris (Mark-Paul Gosselaar), Kelly Kapowski (Tiffani-Amber Thiessen), A.C. Slater (Mario Lopez), Jessie Spano (Elizabeth Berkley), Samuel “Screech” Powers (Dustin Diamond), Lisa Turtle (Lark Voorhies) and their principal Mr. Belding, played by Dennis Haskins.
The last episode of the original series aired on December 5, 1992 as the characters we had grown to love readied to graduate from Bayside High.
