Icing on the cake: they will also have live music, food, beirgartens (& rootbeer), and cool otter activities for children and adults! You can even talk to the Zoo Keepers with any otter questions you have at either 10am or 1:30pm. Admission to the event is free and this is the last weekend to check it out. It runs from 10:00 – 3:00 on both Saturday, October 15th and Sunday the 16th.

Here are some Otter-Fun-Facts!
- They can stay underwater for up to five minutes.
- Otters are the only marine mammals that have fur instead of blubber.
- Otters spend the majority of their time on land.
- Male Otters are called meowters, females are queens, and the offspring are pups.
- They have the ability to create and use tools just like beavers, monkeys, and apes.
- Otters are believed to be one of the most intelligent creatures in the world.
