Okay, I for one am over this extreme heat thing. I can’t even open my car door after work without double checking to make sure my eyebrows weren’t singed off from the fireball of heat that punches me in the face when I open the door. Even going to the pool on a day off isn’t enticing. If I wanted to take a hot bath I’d just stay at home, thank you very much.
And if you have kiddos, you might be finding yourself getting pretty imaginative with indoor activities. I never knew there was such a thing as cabin fever in the summer time.

Check with your church or a church in your area for Vacation Bible School. Typically the hours are somewhere between 6pm and 8 or 9pm and they don’t require you to be a member of the church to sign your child up. Usually there’s singing, snacks and crafts.
