Mom Saves Daughter’s Embarrassing Childhood Note

We all know parents that seemingly save every piece of piece of paper ever touched by their children growing up.  Some do it to have those things to surround themselves with when their children grow up while others do it to get revenge on their adult children for all the headaches they cause them growing up.

When items that are borderline embarrassing end up in the hands of younger siblings, you can probably guess how they will be used.

A friend of mine from high school, we’ll call her Sienna, checked her Facebook account one day last year to find this note that she had written to her mother when she was young. The mother had sent it to the Sienna’s younger sibling and the sibling of course immediately put the note on Facebook.

Sienna’s letter addresses a “female event” she encountered growing up. . . and her desire for chocolate chip cookies.

While the note being posted on Facebook was surely a surprise to Sienna, she holds no ill will towards her sister or her mother.  The posting recently came up again in Facebook’s “Memories” feature and the siblings, and their friends, had a good laugh about it.

Has a potentially embarrassing moment like this happened to you? Or are you just waiting for your parents to pull something from your childhood out of the closet?
