Tony Lucca Tonight At Old Rock House

Tony Lucca takes the stage tonight at the Old Rock House on the St. Louis stop of his Whole World Watching Tour.

You probably remember Lucca from his run on NBC’s The Voice, where he was a member of Adam Levine’s team and finished as the second runner-up. Lucca got his start in 1991 at the age of 14 on the Mickey Mouse Club. He originally thought he was going to be auditioning for Disney’s movie, Newsies. The fact that he was a “Mouseketeer” with Christina Aguilera made for a fun storyline on the show, although “Xtina” didn’t recognize him during his blind audition.

Two of Tony’s coolest performances could be easily interpreted as a dig at Aguilera. His cover of Britney Spears’ “Baby One More Time” and this cover of “99 Problems.”

After Lucca’s own tour concludes, he will make several appearances on Maroon 5’s tour with Kelly Clarkson. Seems like there’s a decent chance that Tony and Adam will perform this song again:

Tony just recently released an EP, “With The Whole World Watching”. He performed “Never Gonna Let You Go” on Season 4 of The Voice.

Doors for tonight’s show at Old Rock House open at 7pm with the show starting at 8pm. Honor By August will open the show. Tickets are $15 at the door.

From his Twitter feed, it looks like Lucca had a great start to his day here in St. Louis, so expect a high-energy show tonight.
