Danielle Bradbery Wins The Voice

Javier Colon, Jermaine Paul, Cassadee Pope and now….Danielle Bradbery. The 16-year old country singer won season 4 of The Voice on Tuesday night.

She beat out Michelle Chamuel and the Swon Brothers for the win.

Many of the people covering The Voice had Bradbery winning leading into the final vote. The iTunes recordings of her performances sold very well.

While Pope recently released a new single and has an album set to be released this Fall, Bradberry will attempt to be the first real star to come from the Voice ranks. The first winner, Javier Colon, walked away from his record deal that came with his win over differences about how his album was being promoted. Season 2 winner Jermaine Paul apparently has an album coming out soon.

It could have all been over for Danielle back in April when she narrowly beat St. Louisan Caroline Glaser in the Battle Rounds.

Now, looking back, it is kind of fitting she sang this song by Jessica Andrews. With the $100,000 that comes with winning the season, the song’s theme of being true to oneself and being just fine will be a whole lot easier.

Winning The Voice is sure long way from this.

For one of her final performances, Danielle sang the Pam Tillis classic “Maybe It Was Memphis”, which she also sang earlier in the season.

The youngest and perhaps sweetest  person to win The Voice originally got chairs to turn with “Mean” by Taylor Swift.

It’s fitting that her final performance was this hit considering that with the right songs to sing, Danielle Bradbery will climb the country charts.
