Want To Be In The Guinness Book Of World Records?

The Day: Saturday, August 18, 2012

The Time: 2:00pm

The Place: Art Hill in Forest Park behind the St. Louis Art Museum

The Cause: Nurses for Newborns Foundation

The Challenge: To help St. Louis make it into the Guinness Book of World Records for the  The Most People Doing Somersaults Simultaneously

Currently, the Cleven Becker Foundation in Zurich, Switzerland holds this record with 835 people. Andrew Tessier of Des Peres with his Barrel Roll Man organization tried to beat the record in 2011 with 836 people, but failed…only 100 people participated.

Come on St. Louis! We can do better than that!

Here’s how it works: You take 30 minutes out of your day this Saturday at 2pm to come down to the gorgeous Art Hill in Forest Park to join 835 others (you get that, you’re #836, the one who wins it for St. Louis!) doing 1 or more somersaults (or barrel rolls) down the hill and we win! So easy right?!

What you get: Not only do you get your 15 minutes of fame, you also help raise money and awareness for a great organization.
In order to participate, you simply bring $2 (you can probably scrape that out of your couch or underneath the seats of your car) and receive a commemorative wristband.

And if we break the record…you can to go to the Guinness Book of World Records website and get a certificate of participation as an official Guinness Book of World Records Holder!

Here’s a little motivation:

We hope to see you there St. Louis!
