Help Save A Life From The Scorching Summer Heat!

Have some extra time this Summer? Looking to get a pet but not sure if you’re ready? Want a new buddy for your lonely cat or dog?

I have an idea for you:

The Stray Rescue of St. Louis is full and in need of emergency fosters during the Summer to help add additional space in the shelter for dogs in critical condition. With these record breaking upper 90 and triple digit temperatures, homeless dogs are in serious danger. These are extreme conditions and so many of these poor souls are stranded out in the elements to die. Foster a shelter dog for the Summer to help save some lives.

For each dog that leaves the shelter for a new Summer foster home, Stray Rescue will be able to rescue one more off the streets to provide them safety from this unbearable Summer heat. This is when they need our help the most.

Don’t have time to help out a dog yourself this Summer? How about just passing this on to your family and friends who may be able to help. We all realize we cannot save them all, but every little bit, whether it be taking in a dog or just passing the message along, can help to ensure they take as many as possible off the streets and out of harm’s way.

You can check out the website for more information and to see the cute dogs they have available to foster, or contact Barbi at barbi@strayrescue.org or 314-771-6121 Extension 265.

And if you’re able to help out, we’d love to see some pictures of you with your Summer buddy.
