7th Annual Benefit for Stray Rescue of St. Louis

Stray Rescue of St. Louis‘ sole purpose is to rescue stray animals in need of medical attention, restore them to health and place them in loving, adoptive homes.  Virtually all of the pets they save have been severely abused and neglected.  They’ve been dumped on highways, or remote country roads, abandoned in public parks, empty houses and dark alleys.  I personally rescued one of their dogs that was shot in the hind leg, which had to be amputated.

The Stray Rescue will be hosting their 7th Annual Spring For Strays benefit at Harry’s Restaurant and Bar on Sunday, May 6th from 2-6pm.  This is a great event and all proceeds go straight to the shelter for supplies and care of the animals.

For a $10 donation, they will have exciting entertainment, raffles and prizes, live and silent auctions.  Harry’s Restaurant is located at 2144 Market Street in downtown St. Louis.  For more information regarding this event and future events, please visit their website at StrayRescue.org.
