Stream The Ranch On Netflix

Need something new to stream on Hulu, Netflix or Amazon? Try The Ranch on Netflix. Ashton  Kutcher and Danny Masterson, who stared together on That ’70s Show. are back together  in this new Netflix original comedy. The pair are joined by the likes of Debra Winger and Sam Elliot. Season one of the show consists of two separate sets of ten episodes. The first ten premiered today on Netflix.

Kutcher plays Colt Bennett, a semi-pro football player that has been gone from the family ranch in Colorado for fifteen years, but has now returned to help run it. Masterson plays Colt’s brother, Rooster, while Winger and Elliot play their parents.

Elisha Cuthbert, who some may remember from 24 and The Girl Next Door, as well as sitcom favorites like Barry Corbin, Kathy Baker and Megyn Price are also along for the ride.

Dominic Patten, writing for Deadline, says fans that tune in to see Kutcher and Masterson will like the show if they are in it for a “fairly standard, broad-humored Big 4-type show” will enjoy The Ranch. He goes to to say that those folks that aren’t typically sitting down to watch that type of show will appreciate the performances of Winger and Eillot.

Entertainment Weekly says the series “ropes you with its peculiarities” and notes that while it is a pretty standard tv sitcom utilizing multiple cameras and a ready-made set, the stage and cinematography engage the imagination.
