On Monday we recapped Saint Louis FC’s win over Oklahoma City Energy FC last weekend. Jake Fenlason picked up his third clean sheet of the season and Christian Volesky scored the lone tally of the match.

On Tuesday we brought you this week’s edition of the Tuesday Top Five featuring songwriter Nicolle Galyon. The Voice alum is behind some of the top country hits this year like “Female” by Keith Urban and “Tequila” by Dan + Shay.

Here’s Nicolle singing “Consequences,” which she co-wrote with Camila Cabello, Emily Weisband and Amy Wadge.

 

On Wednesday we previewed this weekend’s USL match between our Chupacabras and the Swope Park Rangers in Kansas City.  The Rangers are the USL affiliate of Major League Soccer’s Sporting Kansas City and they will call Children’s Mercy Park home for at least the rest of this season.

Ed Sheeran, whose “Perfect” music video recently hit 1 billion views on Youtube, released his “Happier” music video earlier today.

Amazon Set To Raise Prime Subscription

Amazon announced yesterday that it is raising the price of a yearly subscription to its Prime prime service 20%, from $99 to $119.

MarketWatch rounds up why many will still see a Prime subscription as a great deal at the new price for more than just the free two-day shipping.

Saint Louis FC Signs Edward Opoku

Saint Louis FC added a new player today, 20-year old Edward Opoku. The young midfielder was signed on loan from the Columbus Crew of Major League Soccer.

Opoku is a native of Ghana who played his college soccer at the University of Virginia. He originally came to the United State at the age of 10 through the Right To Dream Academy.

Opoku’s loan is on a per game basis, giving Columbus the right to recall him at any time.

Avengers: Infinity War Hits Theaters

It was a big day at RealLife yesterday with two published posts.

Avengers: Infinity War highlighted our Weekend Movie Guide this week. The highly anticipated movie is predicted to top $240 million in receipts this weekend and has been pretty well-received thus far from critics.

We also brought you the St. Louis Weekend Events Guide for April 26-29, 2018. Among the fun going on around town this weekend? John Legend is in town for a charity event at Peabody Opera House. The Nine Network is hosting a really cool 4 Hands Brewing Company and there’s a pretty fly 90’s-themed pub crawl taking place this weekend down in Soulard.

Crazy Rich Asians Trailer Released

Check out the trailer below for the upcoming film Crazy Rich Asians.

The film stars Constance Wu, Michelle Yeoh, Ken Jeong and Henry Golding. Jimmy O. Yang, who plays Jian Yang on Silicon Valley, also appears in the film. Yang talked a little about his role in the film recently in an interview with Vulture.
