Singer/Songwriter Emily Reid Uses Jennifer Aniston & Brad Pitt Relationship As Inspiration For “Jennifer Aniston”
The early 2000s relationship between Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt–and its subsequent end–serves as the inspiration for a new song from Nashville singer/songwriter Emily Reid.
The former Friends star and University of Missouri Sigma Chi brother were the Hollywood It couple of the early 2000s and divorced in 2005. Aniston is now married to Justin Theroux while Pitt is recently divorced from Angelina Jolie.
The song, titled “Jennifer Aniston,” is an inspirational song for those getting over a relationship that didn’t quite work out. Or the catchy tune can really be used as an inspiration for anyone needing some, well, inspiration.

Reid recently performed “Jennifer Aniston” during one of the weekly Song Suffragettes performances at The Listening Room Cafe in Nashville, Tennessee.

Emily Reid “Jennifer Aniston”
Emily Reid hails from Toronto, Canada originally and is a graduate of Belmont University in Nashville. She was signed to a publishing deal in April 2016 by BMG and her EP “Drifter” can be purchased on iTunes.

Song Suffragettes is a female-only weekly singer-songwriter showcase held every Monday night at The Listening Room Cafe in Nashville, Tennessee. The showcase that began in 2014 features five artists who each perform three songs. All five perform a cover to end the night.
