DOWNTOWN
PrideFest: An annual festival to celebrate diversity and equality and support the LGBTQ community. St. Louis Pride is one of the most-attended Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) events in the Midwest region. There will be a parade on Sunday at noon with grand marshal Cleve Jones. There will be live music from Laura Bell Bundy. Jessica Sanchez, Alisan Porter, Kat Deluna, Blu Cantrell, Runaground, and Brandon Stansell, plus tons of vendors, food, drinks, and giveaways.

St. Louis Cardinals: The Cardinals are at home this weekend facing off against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Promotional giveaways include an adult Cardinals pullover, a Bob Gibson bobblehead, and a kids Fredbird bobblehead. Come out and support St. Louis baseball!

Just Imagine: The John Lennon Experience: The STL Symphony and entertainer Tim Piper join together to present an extraordinary celebration of the life and music of John Lennon. Just Imagine poignantly intertwines John Lennon’s songs with the stories behind them to create a unique concert experience. You’ll hear legendary classics like “Come Together,” “Strawberry Fields Forever,” “Revolution” and more!

Jungle Boogie: Local party band Push The Limit takes the stage this week at the Saint Louis Zoo for the weekly Jungle Boogie concert series. Head to the Schnuck Family Plaza at the Saint Louis Zoo to dance amongst the animals to songs spanning Top 40 to R&B to swing. Feel free to bring a lawn chair to this free event. Children’s activites will be happening throughout the event and food & drink will be available for purchase.

Circus Flora: The circus wraps up its run in Grand Center this weekend as Circus Flora puts on its last shows of its 31st season.

Loop Arts Fest: Experience 4 days of everything the Loop has to offer. Day 1: Make Music Day – enjoy live music from 30+ artists at over 20 restaurants, shops, and bars on the Loop. Day 2: Literary Arts Event – Come out and read selections from your favorite poets or writers or read/perform your own work at Subterranean Books, the Market in the Loop, the University City Public Library, St. Louis Story Stitchers, Commerce Bank, or Meshuggah Cafe. Day 3: Loop Gallery Walk – stop by 6 different venues from 6-9pm to experience artistic expression at it’s finest. Day 4: Chefs Cook Real – enjoy demos and tastings from 5 talented local chefs who will be showcasing their skills at the Midtown Farmers Market using fresh ingredients.

Fiesta In Florissant: The two-day celebration will feature non-stop entertainment with live Latino Bands and Folkloric dancers from various countries including Panama, Colombia and Mexico. Local and regional bands will take the stage this year. There will also be a wide variety of foods and beverages from Latin & South America available for purchase such as tamales, tacos and empanadas. Other attractions include folk arts and crafts, Fiesta Car Show, Miss Chiquita Bonita contest, Los Niños Kids Corner with piñatas and Dora the Explorer, Pony Rides, Inflatable Rides and information booths from several cultural organizations to acquaint the public with their programs and services. Our 2nd Annual “Quinceanera Fashion Show” will be Saturday, June 24 at 3pm featuring formal dresses and reenactments of this Hispanic tradition. One of the Fair’s purposes is to celebrate the common heritage of Hispanic nations particularly because of the rise of the Hispanic population in North County. The funds raised are used to fund scholarships distributed to college-bound students and underprivileged children.

Festa Junina: A Brazilian folk festival: This 4th annual presented by Viva Brasil brings Brazilian culture to St. Louis through cultural events. Enjoy kid and adult Quadrilha dance performances, costumes, a raffle drawing, and silent auction.

Vintage Bliss Market: The annual market which hosts the region’s best vintage artisans and retro retailers. Additional event activities include live music from The Gaslight Squares, Miss Jubilee & The Humdingers, and The Breakfast Boys, prize giveaways, workshops, face painting, balloon art and food and drink from local purveyors and Westport Plaza’s restaurants.

Chesterfield Wine & Jazz Festival: Join us for an exciting lineup that showcases the best in contemporary, straight-ahead and fusion jazz.
