Do You Have The McDonald’s App On Your Phone? You Need The McDonald’s App On Your Phone

These days, it seems like there’s an app for everything. Search for “flashlight” on whatever app store you use, whether it be the Apple iTunes App Store or Google Play. You’ll see that there are entirely too many apps.

Apps that give you free things or make you money are worth having a spot on your phone. Previously, I told you about Ibotta.  I’m now up to $136.55, in case anyone was wondering.

Another app you need on your phone is the McDonald’s app. Take advantage of great deals like Buy One, Get One Free sandwiches every day in July. Also score deals on french fries, coffee, shakes, McFlurries and more.

Download the McDonald's app on your phone today and get free food all month. Available in the Apple App Store or on Google Play for Android phones.

Do you love McDonald’s? I love McDonald’s. I am actually writing this from a McDonald’s as we speak. I used the app this morning to get a free breakfast sandwich when I purchased one at regular price. I also used it earlier in the week to get a free Quarter Pounder with cheese when I purchased a Buttermilk Crispy Chicken sandwich. Each time, I’ve washed it all down with a $1 fountain drink.

Of course I got a Diet Coke because it just tastes better at McDonald’s.

If you’re one of those people that doesn’t eat at McDonald’s, for whatever reason, you probably shouldn’t download the app. However, even if you enjoy the Golden Arches on occasion, it’s worth downloading.

Get Free Food

On the app right now there are two Daily deals available once a day until July 30. One is Buy one Large Sandwich, Get one FREE.  That’s what I used earlier to get a free Quarter Pounder when I bought a Buttermilk Crispy Chicken.

The other Daily deal is Buy one Breakfast Sandwich, get one FREE. I used that this morning on my Egg McMuffin and Sausage, Egg & Cheese McGriddle. I saved $3.19 today. The Quarter Pounder was worth even more than that.

Other food deals right now on my app included $2 off any purchase of $10 or more, $1 off a Big Mac, $1 off any Breakfast Sandwich All Day and FREE Hash Browns with Breakfast Sandwich purchase.

Get Free Ice Cream

Not a fan of the food, but you can’t resist a McFlurry every once in a while?  Right now, you can take advantage of a FREE Medium Regular McFlurry with any purchase.  There is also a deal for a FREE Cherry Limeade (any size) with any purchase.

Get Free Coffee

Coffee drinker? Use the app like a Punch Card to score a free McCafe drink when you buy five.

More Than Just Free Food

While the free food is the main selling point for the McDonald’s app, in my opinion, there are other features.

Use the app to find the closest McDonald’s, view the menu or view nutritional information. Of course every app these days has to let you share pictures with a fun filter applied.  You can do that as well with this app.

More features are likely coming to the McDonald’s app. The company has started rolling out delivery to parts of the United States. Self-order kiosks are being rolled out across the country.

Right now in order to take advantage of a deal through the app, you scan a QR code on your phone with a scanner located next to the cash register. In the not-too-distant future, you will likely be able to save your frequent orders to the app and order by just flashing your phone.

For example, I like ordering a McDouble plain. I could store that in the app and not have to bother with remembering to tell the cashier that every time.

Speaking of the McDouble, I’m still hungry and it’s now lunch time. I just might order a McDouble plain and use the app to get a free vanilla shake.

Download the McDonald’s app today from the Apple App Store or Google Play and start getting your free food.
