The Founder, xXx: Return of Xander Cage and Split are in theaters around St. Louis this weekend. Office Christmas Party and Why Him? begin showing at Keller 8 Cinema. The Whole Truth is among the movies now available to rent at Redbox.

xXx: Return of Xander Cage opens tonight at MX Movies in downtown St. Louis. Hidden Figures and Patriots Day will also be showing throughout the weekend.

Recapping Last Weekend

Hidden Figures took the weekend box office crown in relatively easy fashion over the weekend. In its fourth weekend of release, the film starring Taraji P. Henson, Octavia Spencer and Janelle Monae brought in $27.5 million. Sing brought in $19 million while La La Land brought in $17.7 million.

The Bye Bye Man was the top debut film over the weekend with $15.2 million in receipts. Monster Trucks brought in $14.2 million in its debut while Sleepless brought in $9.8 million.
