Mars is decked out in a colorful shirt and a white hat with XXIV embroidered on the front. The 24K Magic Hat is available on BrunoMars.com for $25, but is currently out of stock.

The hat is not from the 1990 Super Bowl, where Joe Montana led the San Francisco 49ers to a 55-10 win over John Elway and the Denver Broncos. That game was before the NFL started bringing in entertainers like Mars, who headlined Super Bowl XLVIII and appeared at Super Bowl 50.

Mars and Corden open with a rendition of Mars’ latest single, “24K Magic,” for which his hat is named. They run through multiple hits by Mars and Corden has Bruno model a lovely black top hat.

Mars and Corden are especially animated while performing “Uptown Funk” with Mars honking the vehicle’s horn and both being winded as the song ends.

The pair recovers enough for a spirited performance of “Perm,” thankfully.
