The True Memoirs of an International Assassin On Netflix Stars Kevin James and Zulay Henao
The True Memoirs of an International Assassin begins streaming today on Netflix. An original film, it stars Kevin James as an author whose work of fiction is suddenly portrayed as a memoir. The switch causes Sam Larson (James) to be pulled into a life he isn’t exactly suited for.
You could say I’m a bit of a Kevin James lemming. I own the entire King of Queens series on dvd. I saw both Paul Blart movies in theaters and I can get through an episode of Kevin Can Wait. Sometimes I even chuckle during it.
James is joined by Kim Coates, Zulay Henao, Andy Garcia, Rob Riggle and other in the film. It directed by Jeff Wadlow, who most recently directed Kick-Ass 2. Jeff Morris wrote the screenplay. You may know him as the writer of the television movie, Grumpy Cat’s Worst Christmas Ever….or maybe not.
Zulay Henao is a Colombnian-American actress who was most recently in Destined and was seen along with Omar Epps earlier this year in Meet The Blacks. Henao was born in Colombia and came to the United States with her family at the age of four. She served three years in the United States Army after graduating high school in New Jersey. She freely admits she joined the army in order to get the college money, which she used to study at the New York Conservatory of Dramatic Arts.
If you’ve watched any of the Adam Sandler movies on Netflix, like The Ridiculous Six or The Do-Over, you’re the market this film is aiming for. Do you have fond memoirs of buying Nickeback albums and don’t understand the hate? Watch this film and the Sandler Netflix films. You can mail your Thank You cards and gifts to me whenever you get time. No rush.
