Kim Kardashian – Taylor Swift Feud Escalates On Snapchat

The latest blow in the Kanye West/Kim Kardashian – Taylor Swift battle was struck yesterday on Snapchat by Kardashian. Kim sent the video of Kanye calling Taylor ahead of the release of his infamous “Famous” song. That song contained the following lyrics directed at Taylor:

I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex
Why? I made that bitch famous (God damn)
I made that bitch famous

Kanye West/Kim Kardashian - Taylor Swift feud escalates
The feud between Kim Kardashian and Taylor Swift escalated over the weekend with a Snapchat post.

Taylor previously said that she did not know about the lyrics before the song was released, whereas Kanye and Kardashian have called Taylor a liar and said she gave her consent to the lyrics in question. The video appears to contradict Taylor’s account of situation in that it shows she knew about the sex part of the lyrics. Taylor Swift kind of gives her consent to the sex part of the lyrics. You can read the full transcript of the Taylor Swift – Kanye West phone call and see that the “bitch” part of the song was something Kanye never mentioned on the call.

The release of the video was done in part to promote the newest episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, where the call was a major part of the plot line.

Taylor Swift responded to Kardashian’s Snapchat post with posts of her own on Instagram and Twitter. Both posts feature this block of text.

That moment when Kanye West secretly records your phone call, then Kim posts it on the Internet.

Taylor’s post reads:

Where is the video of Kanye telling me he was going to call me “that bitch” in his song? It doesn’t exist because it never happened. You don’t get to control someone’s emotional response to being called “that bitch’ in front of the entire world. Of course I wanted to like the song. I wanted us to have a friendly relationship. He promised to play the song  for me, but he never did. While I wanted to be supportive of Kanye on the phone call, you cannot ‘approve’ a song you haven’t heard. Being falsely painted as a liar when I was never given the full story or played any part of the song is character assassination. I would very much like to be excluded from this narrative, one that I have never asked to be part of, since 2009.

Kanye West infamously interrupted Taylor Swift at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards during her acceptance speech after winning in the Best Female Video category.

Piers Morgan has said he feels like Taylor Swift pulled one over on him and referred to her as “Pinocchio Swift” in light of Kardashian’s release of the video. Taylor Swift squad member Selena Gomez ranted on Twitter about how there were more important things to talk about. She was quickly slammed on Twitter for not talking about those important things her self.
