Man Tries Abducting Girl From Florida Dollar General
Just before noon yesterday, Craig Bonello tried abducting a 13-year old girl from a Florida Dollar General. As the mother and the girl were shopping, Bonello grabbed the girl and tried dragging her towards the store’s exit. The mother grabbed the girl herself and tried to pull her daughter from the man’s grasp. The man eventually let go of the girl and ran out of the store. An off-duty sheriff’s deputy happened to be pulling into the parking lot as Bordello was trying to make his escape. The deputy, Jonathan Behnen, was notified of the attempted abduction by the store manager and blocked Bonello from driving out of the parking lot. He got out of his car, drew his weapon and arrested the man.
