When we first met Kimmy Schmidt in the premiere episode of Netflix’s hit show last year, Kimmy (St. Louisan Ellie Kemper) was blissfully unaware of the outside world as the “Mole Women” emerged from their underground prison. We followed her through adventures in all walks of her life in season 1. On April 15, season 2 of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt begins streaming on Netflix.

Robert Carlock, who wrote Kimmy Schmidt along with Tina Fey, sat down recently with The Hollywood Reporter to talk about the upcoming season. Among other things, he touched on the fact that episodes will be longer this season and Kimmy will move on from Dong as well as re-connect with a member of her biological family.

You can also expect plenty of other big things in season 2. Anna Camp and Jeff Goldblum Camp will appear, we’ll learn more about Jacqueline (Jane Krakowski’s character)and more, according to People. E! Online calls this season “even more delightful” than the first.
