Video has recently surfaced of Prince’s performance at the Saturday Night Live 40th birthday after-party. The video was shot from the crowd by Tim Kazurinsky, an SNL alumnus. The SNL40 special originally aired on February 15, 2015, but this video just surfaced over the weekend.

Saturday Night Live dedicated its show over the weekend to Prince. Jimmy Fallon was among those who shared their memories of the recently-deceased iconic superstar. Fallon was responsible for convincing Prince to perform at the after-party.

Blues-Blackhawks In Game 7 Tonight At Scottrade

The St. Louis Blues and Chicago Blackhawks square off tonight in the deciding Game 7 of their first round series in the 2016 NHL Playoffs. Chicago has won the last two games, one in St. Louis and one in Chicago, to tie the series 3-3. Beyonce Releases Lemonade Visual Album

Beyonce again stunned the masses with the release of Lemonade, a visual album, over the weekend. The visual part of the album aired on Saturday night on HBO. It was available for purchase exclusively on Tidal over the weekend, the streaming service owned by Beyonce’s husband, Jay-Z. It’s availability will expand to iTunes today and is also available on Amazon.

The music community has been buzzing for several reasons. Slate calls Lemonade “a phenomenal visual album, fascinating both visually and musically.” They are also buzzing over the perceived tones of infidelity that are heard throughout the album. Social media was also abuzz over rumors that fashion designer Rachel Roy is mentioned in the album as “Becky with the good hair.” Some fans, likely those missing a few marbles, went after Rachael Ray. It’s long been rumored that Jay-Z cheated on Beyonce with Roy.

Conor McGregor Will Fight At UFC 200

It seems like the whole Conor McGregor “retirement” fiasco is behind us. McGregor tweeted early this morning that he will fight at UFC 200. UFC boss Dana White said last week  that Nate Diaz would still fight on the card, but would fight someone else. Diaz responded by publicly saying he wanted to fight McGregor as planned or not fight anyone at the event. The main event matchup is listed as TBD on the UFC 200 website.

Saint Louis FC Wins In Sacramento

Saint Louis FC picked up an important three points over the weekend in Sacramento. Sacramento Republic FC sold out Bonney Field for the 32nd consecutive time,  but 11,569 fans saw St. Louis native Mike Ambersley score the game’s only goal in the 59th minute for St. Louis FC.  Irvin Herrera beautifully brought the ball through the middle of the field and found Ambersley on a run into the Republic third. Ambersley attempted to cross the ball to teammate Drew Connor but the ball ricocheted off the leg of a Republic FC defender just past the reach of the keeper.

Saint Louis FC is now 2-2-2 on the season, tied for third overall in the USL’s Western Conference. They will play the team they are tied with, Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2, this Saturday Night at Marshall Wireless Stadium within Worldwide Technology Soccer Park. A limited amount of tickets are still available.

Billy Busch Raises Bid For Grant’s Farm

More news today on the Grant’s Farm front. Billy Busch has submitted a bid of $26,000,001 for Grant’s Farm, $1 more than one submitted by a group of his siblings. The bid also includes $8 million more of the family mansion on the property.

At one point, there was talk of the Saint Louis Zoo buying Grant’s Farm and continuing to operate it. Billy’s siblings at the time publicly questions his ability to operate the property. He released a 10-year financial plan for the operation at that time.

Grant’s Farm recently opened for the 2016 season, its 62nd.
