Fuller House premieres on Netflix on February 26, 2016.

The Hollywood Reporter has a great look at the series and an interview with Jeff Franklin, the original creator of Full House. For those looking for a straight reboot of the original series, they might be disappointed. More disappointed then when you found out the Olsen twins wouldn’t be involved in Fuller House.  Franklin reveals that the first episode acts as a reboot, but as the season goes on the series becomes its own show.

The adults of the original series; John Stamos, Bob Saget, Dave Coulier and Lori Loughlin, are unfortunately not in all 13 season one episodes of this show.

Fuller House centers on D.J. Tanner Fuller (Candace Cameron Bure) moving back to San Francisco and her childhood home with her children after the death of her husband. Her sister Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) and childhood friend Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber) end up moving into the house as well.

If you’re like most of us regular folks, you’re excited for this show. If you’re Margaret Lyons of Vulture, you hate life, puppies, kittens and ice cream. Writers at The Hollywood Reporter, Deadline and Variety also apparently hate unicorns, rainbows and sloths rescued from highways.

YouTube user Kyle Slingo has a message for those hating on this show.

Singer Carly Rae Jepsen was recruited to remake the Full House theme song, “Everywhere You Look”, for the new show. You can listen to the full Carly Rae Jepsen version here. You’ll have to wait until the show’s release to see the actual opening but you can go back and look at how the show’s opening credits changed over the life of Full House.
