St. Louis Boat & Sportshow: The annual 5-day event is a one-stop marketplace for outdoor fun. The show will feature over 40 boat, powersports, and docks & lifts dealers located in and around the following areas: St. Louis Metro, Southern IL, Lake of the Ozarks, Table Rock Lake, Hermann, and Troy. Shop the latest in boating, fishing and hunting gear, or visit outfitters and resorts to plan your next trip or book a vacation. Get tips from the pros at the Boating and Outdoor Classroom. Attend DIY seminars at Fred’s Shed Interactive Learning Center, and learn from a real marine mechanic and other experts on how to best care for your boat. Try out a kayak on water at Paddler’s Party Cove. Compete in turkey calling and owl hooting contests. See native fish in action at the Texas Bass Tank. And youngens will want to visit Kids’ Cove where they can enjoy the free Becky Thatcher Trout Pond. Adults: $12, kids 15 and under are free.

St. Louis Blues: Thursday’s home game against the New York Rangers is also Breast Cancer Awareness Night. $5 of every ticket sold through the special KOMEN code will go to American Cancer Society, Susan G. Komen Missouri, or Siteman Cancer Center and will include a commemorative Pink at the Rink t-shirt. Also, a limited number of 2016 Pink at the Rink Mini Sticks autographed by Blues Hall of Famers Al MacInnis, Brett Hull, Bernie Federko and future Hall of Famer Martin Brodeur will be sold at section 114 for $30 each. All proceeds benefit Siteman Cancer Center and Susan G. Komen Missouri.

Hot Country Nights: Get ready to get your country on with Frankie Ballard performing live on the FOX Sports Midwest Live! stage as Ballpark Village continues their 92.3 WIL HOT COUNTRY NIGHTS Presented by FORD series. LANco will open the show. Look for Billy Currington to come next week as the final show. Tickets are $11 in advance and $15 the day of.

National Blues Museum Showcase: In anticipation of the grand opening on April 2, 2016, the National Blues Museum has partnered with Ballpark Village St. Louis to host its first-ever public live music event. The National Blues Museum Showcase is free and open to the public, and will feature live performances from three St. Louis-based artists: blues rock band Phi, guitarist Marquise Knox, and legendary harmonica player Big George Brock. Concert attendees will have the opportunity to purchase t-shirts and annual memberships to the National Blues Museum.

8th annual Centennial Beer Fest: One of the most inclusive and largest indoor beer festival in St. Louis. The Centennial is proud to partner with the St. Louis Area Foodbank to raise funds to fee the hungry in our region. On Friday night, Saturday afternoon and Saturday night, join in tastings that include more than 25 local & regional breweries plus the best domestic and international brewers – more than 200 beers with unlimited samples. The Home Brewer’s competition is held Friday night and as part of your ticket you can vote for your favorite beer. The winner will brew a commercial batch and feature their beer at 21st Street Brewer’s bar. Get a VIP upgrade for Saturday which features rare, vintage and cellared beer in the Malt House Cellar and light snacks. All guests receive a souvenir tasting glass and each session features live entertainment.

Dining Out For Tower Grove: On the fourth Thursday of every month, a participating restaurant join with Tower Grove Park to showcase delicious eats and support Tower Grove Park! 5% of all proceeds will be donated to the Park. This month’s featured restaurant is Rooster South Grand. Rooster has been voted “Best breakfast in Missouri,” as well as “Best crepes, bloody marys, and brunch in St. Louis!” They will be open from 8am-10pm offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner to support a great cause!

14th Annual Wall Ball: A live art extravaganza highlighting the creative process of dozens of top artists in the St. Louis area. While the featured artists create their works live, patrons bid on the works-­in-­progress in a unique silent auction format, all while enjoying a dazzling party! All proceeds from Wall Ball support Artscope’s mission to “provide a safe and educational environment for children to explore the Arts and to strengthen ties within the St. Louis community.”

Trivia Night at SCC: The St. Charles Community College Employee Sponsored Program will host its annual Trivia Night to raise funds for SCC scholarships, campus enhancements and employee support initiatives. The event will be held in the Daniel J. Conoyer Social Sciences Building auditorium on the St. Charles Community College campus in Cottleville. Tickets cost $25 per person or $200 per table of eight. Beer, wine, soda and water are included, and teams are welcome to bring snacks.

St. Charles Boat Show: The premiere show for boating enthusiasts all over the Midwest. See many new 2016 models from some of your favorite boat lines at the lake, and even view a few brand new boat lines never before displayed in St Louis. This year’s show is two complete floors of runabouts, performance boats, pontoons, ski boats, luxury cruisers and personal watercraft. You will also find docks, lifts and all of your boating accessories on display. Register for the $1,000 of FREE gas we will be giving away. Adults $9.00, Children (6-12) $5.00, 5 & Under Free.

River City Raiders: The River City Raiders team officials announced today that one of the nation’s premier professional indoor football franchises will kick off its fourth season at The Family Arena in St. Charles this Saturday against the Northern Kentucky Nightmare. The Raiders will be offering thousands of free tickets to fans through several area marketing and retail partners as well as its website and Facebook page. A huge crowd is expected so fans are strongly encouraged to arrive early. Tailgating will begin at 3:30 p.m., doors for the event will open at 5:30 p.m. with pre-game ceremonies starting at 6:45 p.m. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:05 pm.

However, one day when she is married and has a family to cook for, she would love to take cooking classes and learn awesome skills like the chefs on Iron Chef America...as long as she doesn't have to clean the dishes afterwards.
