Lalas Burlesque Show: Los Angeles’ hottest burlesque show will be performing their classic rock themed, comedic, audience interactive show for one night only in St. Louis. The Lalas consists of 6 Los Angeles based female professional dancers; each woman is handpicked and the best of the best in the biz. Every show is completely custom, no two performances are alike. Tickets start at $20 ($27.85 with fees).

First Friday in Grand Center: Every first Friday of the month, Grand Center hosts a fun and free neighborhood gallery walk! Enjoy the latest art exhibitions at numerous Grand Center arts organizations, including the Bruno David Gallery, Craft Alliance Center of Art + Design, the Contemporary Art Museum, the Museum of Contemporary Religious Art (MOCRA), Portfolio Gallery, the Pulitzer Foundation for the Arts, the Sheldon Art Galleries, and the Saint Louis University Museum of Art. There will be DJs, Live music, beverages available for purchase, and free tours by museum staff.

Taking Back Sunday: Come out to Ballpark Village for the last concert in the Friday Night Live! summer concert series. Taking Back Sunday, presented by 105.7, will be performing on the outdoor Busch II Stage. Rock out to hit songs like “You’re So Last Summer” and “Liar.” GA tickets are $10.57 in advance and $15 day of show. A VIP ticket option (21+) is also available for $25 in advance and $30 day of show and includes special reserved seating, bathroom and bar service.

An Evening With Our Idols: A Vatterott Scholarship Fund benefit featuring Biggest Loser contestant and American Idol Season 2 Winner Ruben Studdard, along with Season 2 Top 12 contestant, Kimberly Locke, Season 4 Top 12 contestant, Nikko Smith, and Season 5 Second Runner-Up, Elliot Yamin. GA tickets are $31.

Grub & Groove: A free annual concert event in Francis Park brought to you by Friends of Francis Park. The event will include live music from: Groovethang, Matt Stansberry & The Romance, and Daphne Willis. Enjoy food and drink from exceptional local restaurants, a kids zone with Bubble Bus, hot yoga, retail village, brew zone, and more. While Grub and Groove is primarily an opportunity to celebrate the neighborhood, any proceeds from the event are used to benefit Francis Park in order to support the significant ongoing maintenance needs.

World Cat Day: Celebrate World Cat Day and the 5th anniversary of Animal House with an open house at our adoption center! Enjoy cake & refreshments and a tour of our facility. In 5 years, hundreds and hundreds of cats have been adopted and rescued because of Animal House. We are looking forward to many more years helping the vulnerable cats and kittens in our community find loving, life-long homes. Please feel free to bring gifts for the kitties.

Diva Dash 5K & Little Princess Fun Run: A great event to celebrate being women (and girls)! The 5K race is chip-timed with mile markers and an aid station along the course. Participants will get a women’s-cut tech shirt, customized bib, and a large finisher’s medal at finish line, along with food, drinks, and music! The Lil’ Princesses (girls ages 8 and under) will get a shirt and bib at packet pick up and after the run they will receive a tiara, and Lil’ Princess medal. Registration fees are $36 through Aug 7 for adults, $12 for kids.

5th Annual Show Off Auto Show: Come for the cars: hot rods, street rods, muscle cars, classic cards, trucks, motorcycles, antiques, and more. Stay for the music. Professional DJ and live music will keep you dancing as you check out the show. There will be a variety of music that everyone can enjoy. Enjoy fair food including funnel cakes, Mustache Mike’s Italian Ice, and more. Check out the Themed Pin Up Model Contest. Donate blood and get a free t-shirt. Tons of activities to look forward to.

Ferguson Brewing Co Fundraiser: Come join the fun as we get together to raise a few pints in support of a fellow St. Louis brewer. The employees of the Ferguson Brewing Company, who were put out of work by a recent fire, are going to be hosting a fundraiser at The Biergarten to support the FBC Employee Trust. We’ll be pouring FBC beers: Pecan Nut Brown, St. Louis Pale Ale and Hefeweizen, and the FBC employees will collect cash in exchange for beer tokens, general cash donations and will also raffle off a few gift baskets filled with FBC and A-B swag.

Family Fun Day: Cool off this summer with some water fun at the Saint Louis University Hospital Family Fun Day. Bring the kids out for games, rides, face painting, Gypsy Rose Pirate Ship, Inflatable 2-Lane Slide, Bubble Bus, Babaloo Performance, St. Louis Fire Truck w/ mister, Water Bucket Brigade Game, Whirley Bird Ride, Frog Hop Game, Water Balloons, Fish Game, Bounce House, and more! Admission to the event is free. Some rides and games require all-access pass purchase for $5.
