Weekend events in St. Louis from Thursday, June 11th through Sunday, June 14th, 2015.

Feast on Forsyth: An upscale “dinner on the street” celebrating the start of the outdoor dining season. The event will showcase the fine dining options on Forsyth Blvd. Participating restaurants will provide samples of two to three feature dishes at their food stations. In addition to the participating restaurant stations, the event will feature an upscale party setting, DJ music, dessert stations, and specialty cocktail/beer/wine bars. Tickets are $75.

Farm to Fork: Locally grown, freshly picked, and ready for tasting! Three Sixty’s 4th Annual Farm to Fork event is back. Join us for a truly unique evening filled with delicious tastings and fun. It’s Three Sixty’s modern rendition on the traditional farmer’s market experience. Guests will sample a seasonally inspired menu that celebrates the bounty of flavors from right here in our community and enjoy unlimited beer & wine samples. Admission is $40.

2nd Thursday at Foundry Arts: The Foundry Art Centre and Saint Charles Riverfront Arts invites one and all to their jointly hosted community arts series entitled “2nd Thursdays” at the Foundry Art Centre. This is a unique, family-friendly community arts series where guests can be creative: Draw with Artists, Paint with Painters, Create with Potters, Make Jewelry with Jewelers, Write with Writers, Act with Actors, Dance with Dancers, and listen to live original music. Food trucks will be on site and there will be a cash bar. Admission is free.

Food Truck Friday: The once a month foodie event where you have all of your favorite food trucks in one place. Throw in some live music and friends and it’s a great happy hour kick-off to a Friday night. With 20+ trucks including dessert and drink trucks (Urban Chestnut), or you can BYOB, it’s a great event to meet people and enjoy the community atmosphere. This month’s FTF performer is Emily Wallace, playing from 4-7:30pm. Don’t forget your lawn chairs!

The Weekend Peddler Market: A treasure house of all things from shabby chic, retro, rustic, primitive, inspired, desired, reclaimed, restored, revived, handmade, up-cycled and refurbished from vintage enthusiasts and curators. Shop for beautiful French and French inspired antiques, farm house tables and chairs made by a master carpenter, wonderful vintage textiles and jewelry, and much more. Get tickets in advance for the Early Bird Preview Event. $10 ticket buyers receive a free Vintage Peddler Market Tote Bag. 3 day pass is $10 in advance, 1 day pass is $5.

Cardinals vs Royals: This weekend the Cardinals are back in St. Louis to take on the Kansas City Royals. Besides winning, there are some cool things to look forward to at this weekend’s games. On Friday, the Cardinals will be giving 1985 National League Championship Beer Steins to the first 25,000 fans, ages 21 and older entering with a ticket. Saturday is Pooches in the Ballpark. Fans can bring their pets in certain sections of the stadium, plus there will be a pre-game costume parade. Pet leashes will be given away from Purina. At Sunday’s game, adult Replica Home White 1985 Mystery Jerseys will go to 25,000 fans ages 16 and older entering with a ticket. In addition, Prairie Farms will be hosing Ice Cream Sunday and Kids Run the Bases after the game.

Twangfest: Twangfest is a place where incredible musical performers from all over the country play before the most fervent bunch of music lovers that they or you will ever meet. We often say that Twangfest is a big tent; the big top of a musical three-ring circus, filled with the sights and sounds that make roots music so vibrant and inspirational. Get ready to fill your ears and feast your eyes. Wed: Cracker, Marah, and Grace Basement. Thurs: Matthew Sweet, Lilly Hiatt, and Spectator. Fri: Nadine, Lydia Loveless, and Trio Project. STL Brewers Guild Heritage Festival: The 9th Annual event will feature 33 St. Louis area breweries with over 100 different beers styles & local brewery collaborations. Home-brew Village will feature area clubs showcasing what their members can create, while some of the best local eateries and food trucks will offer up your favorite dishes. The Guild will also host a merchandise tent where special and collaboration beers will be featured. When you feel like a break is needed, head over to the dinner tent where nine local bands will play over the course of the weekend. Advance Tickets: $30 General Admission or $40 Early Entry.

International Cheese, Wine & Canine Festival: Experience the unique characteristics of fine dog breeds and wines with a palate-pleasing evening of canine and cultural enlightenment. Get up close and personal with more than 40 different breeds of dogs originating from all parts of the world while sampling an international smorgasbord of wines, cheeses and snacks. Plus, all tickets come with a special dessert! Also, watch some amazing cultural performances, including belly dancing, as well as Scottish and Irish dancing. Taster tickets are $35 and non-drinker tickets are $15.

The Battle for St. Louis: Roller Derby in the house! The Stunt Devils and the Smashinistas battle it out for the Arch Rival Roller Girls League Championships this Saturday. The opening match features the two top men’s teams, the Riverfront Crimes and South Grand Slammers, fighting for the GateKeepers Roller Derby league championship. Tickets are $12 for the arena or $20 for the floor. Go for the floor so you can see all the action, sweat, and blood up close!

Race for the Cure: Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure is the world’s largest and most successful education and fundraising event for breast cancer ever created. The event raises significant funds and awareness for the breast cancer movement, celebrates breast cancer survivorship and honors those we have lost to the disease. Registration begins at 6:30am – there will be hundreds of booths with giveaways, water, educational info, and more. The 5K timed run begins at 8am, followed by the non-timed run/1-mile fun run/walk. Awards ceremony begins at 9am followed by entertainment and music at 9:15am. There is still time to sign up, or just come out and cheer on the survivors/supporters on Saturday.

NASCAR Drivin’ For Lineman: The STARS of NASCAR battle it out under the lights. The race will pay tribute to the past, present, future and fallen lineman. It will be a full day of activity starting with Camping World Truck Series practice begins at 9:30am. Then live music pre-qualifying and post-race. Pole Qualifying begins at 4:45pm with Pre-Race Ceremonies starting at 6:30pm. The green flag will waive for the 2nd Annual Drivin’ For Linemen 200 at 7:30pm. Tickets start at $36. It is Scott AFB Appreciation Day for all active duty military get free admission, plus free food vouchers when you show your military I.D. at ‘Gateway Military Welcome Table’ inside front gate. Receive free hot dog, chips and water courtesy of Gateway Concession Vendors. Kids 15 & Under are free with ticket holding adult.

Pooches in the Ballpark: At Saturday’s game against the Royals, the St. Louis Cardinals host the 11th Annual Purina Pooches in the Ballpark. Purchase a special ticket in the pet-friendly sections of the ballpark, and watch the game with your pooch. You and your pooch are also invited onto the field to participate in a pre-game costume parade around the warning track. Pets are encouraged to show their Cardinals pride by wearing weather-appropriate team gear or their best summer-inspired costumes for a chance to win prizes and unique opportunities courtesy of Nestlé Purina and the St. Louis Cardinals. All participants will receive a Purina goodie-bag and a Cardinals themed leash for your furry friend courtesy of Nestlé Purina.

St. Ann Food Truck Festival: The 3rd food truck event of the year, St. Ann Park will host St. Ann Sunday Food Trucks. In addition to 14 food trucks including: Pyro Pizza, Vincent Van Doughnuts, Sarah’s Cake Stop, Guerrilla Street Food, Bombay Food Junkie, Deli on a Roll, Kona Ice, and more, there will also be pony rides, face painting, pet adoption station, and live music. Bring your lawn chairs or blanket.

Doesn’t know how to cook and survives pretty much on macaroni and cheese and pizza, so naturally, loves to eat out at restaurants. However, one day when she is married and has a family to cook for, she would love to take cooking classes and learn awesome skills like the chefs on Iron Chef America...as long as she doesn't have to clean the dishes afterwards.
