Colonel Sanders Returns For Kentucky Fried Chicken

KFC is bringing Colonel Sanders back to celebrate its 75th anniversary. Not the real Colonel of course. Colonel Harland David Sanders, the founder of Kentucky Fried Chicken and popular face of the company died in 1980. Saturday Night Live veteran Darrell Hammond plays the Colonel in the new ad spots. Also part of the campaign is the release of ColonelQuest, a “strangely addictive online video game”, according to Eater and the launch of new products like Kentucky Baked Beans and Dole lemonade.

The first Kentucky Fried Chicken franchise opened in 1952 in Utah, although Sanders had been selling his fried chicken in Kentucky since 1930. Kentucky Fried Chicken officially became just “KFC” in 1991 because some men in suits thought it would make people think the restaurant’s food was healthier.

Foxx ended the game by singing “On Top Of Spaghetti” as Jennifer Hudson.

Chicago Blackhawks Player Thinks He’s Playing Soccer

Andrew Shaw and the rest of Chicago thought the Blackhawks had beaten the Anaheim Ducks in double overtime last night. Shaw headed in a deflected puck to give Chicago the 3-2 win in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals. The only problem was that the Blackhawks and Ducks are playing hockey, not soccer. In the NHL, you can’t head the puck in like you could is say, the EPL.

Some internet genius took the video of the disallowed goal and put audio of Ray Hudson calling a Cristiano Ronaldo goal over it. The result is glorious.

Riley Curry Joins Dad Steph Curry At Press Conference

Steph Curry is basically a basketball god. He led the Golden State Warriors to a game 1 win over the Houston Rockets on Tuesday night and then brought his daughter, Riley, with him to the post-game press conference. In a hilariously dumb move, some sportswriters appear to be upset that athletes would bring their kids to press conferences.
