commitmentday Commitment Day 5K: If you can’t commit to this, things aren’t looking so well for you in 2015. A run created by the Life Time Foundation whose mission is about inspiring healthy people and a healthy planet one mission at a time. Currently, the Foundation is focused on improving children’s nutrition through education and the elimination of highly processed and unnatural ingredients from school lunch menus, ensuring every child has a healthy start in life.

HGT Harlem Globetrotters are coming to the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, MO with their unrivaled family show, featuring some of the greatest athletes on the planet. With incredible ball handling wizardry, amazing rim-rattling dunks and trick shots, side-splitting comedy and unequaled on-court fan interaction, this must-see event is guaranteed to entertain the whole family creating memories that will last a lifetime.

holidaysatoch 1764 12th Afternoon Ball: 12 pm: Dennis Stroughmatt et L’Esprit Creole concert feature popular French holiday music of the early St. Louis settlers. 1 pm: Dancing, King Cakes and refreshments.
For the series’ final day, Deborah Hyland will once again teach the most popular dances of the mid 18th century. Food Historian Suzanne Corbett will present treats common to St. Louis dinner tables during the 1764 holiday season. King’s Cake will be also served, and the King and Queen of Mardi Gras will be crowned.

roller derby Arch Rival Roller Girls & Gatekeepers: A full season of women’s and men’s Roller Derby double headers. Arch Rival Roller Girls are pleased and excited to announce that Gatekeepers Roller Derby will be joining us for the local season at Midwest Sport Hockey. Bring a group out to this Saturday’s game for the Stunt Devils vs. Smashinistas & Dogtown Rockets vs. Riverfront Crimes. Doors open at 6pm. Check your program for details about the after party. Individual tickets: $12, group tickets, $10.
