MAGIC MIKE XXL IS NOW IN THEATERS. READ MORE HERE

As if Fifty Shades of Grey being released on screen in 2015 isn’t exciting enough, Channing Tatum, Matt Bomer, Kevin Nash aka Tarzan, Joe Manganiello and (hopefully) Alex Pettyfer will be back for Magic Mike XXL this year as well. The cast, minus Matthew McConaughey, and plus a few new female characters, including Jada Pinkett Smith, are planning to hit the big screen in July.

In addition to the movie, Channing also just spread the news that there will be a #MagicMikeContest this time around. The winner will get to come to the set and take pictures with the guys, and will also be an extra in the audience during their performances. Hello!

Update: Contest has ended

So of course joining the contest is a must. It ends September 29th, so get your entries in quick. MagicMikeContest.com

Ok, back to the movie. It will hit theaters July 1, 2015. In addition to the male characters, female characters who have been announced are Jada, Amber Heard, and Andie McDowell. Channing is co-writing it with Reid Carolin, who wrote and produced the original Magic Mike. Steven Soderbergh is working with his first director Gregory Jacobs to produce the movie, which Channing has described as a crazy and fun road trip movie. “It will be a road-trip movie, and it will essentially be the movie that everyone thought the first one was going to be: crazy and fun and less slice-of-life and less drama.” Of course we all love the men and the abs and the stripping, but a story-line is good too. There was a love story in the original, which in my opinion is equally as important as all the other stuff. So I have to wonder, will Brooke and Mike’s love story continue?

What are your thoughts? What or who do you hope to see in Magic Mike XXL?

Doesn’t know how to cook and survives pretty much on macaroni and cheese and pizza, so naturally, loves to eat out at restaurants. However, one day when she is married and has a family to cook for, she would love to take cooking classes and learn awesome skills like the chefs on Iron Chef America...as long as she doesn't have to clean the dishes afterwards.
