Donald Sterling is not a good person

Friday night TMZ released audio of Donald Sterling telling his girlfriend that he didn’t want her putting Instagram pictures up of her with black people. Deadspin then released the whole audio tape. Sterling owns the Los Angeles Clippers of the NBA. That would be the National Basketball Association, where 75% or more of the players are African American. It’s no secret that Sterling is a sorry excuse for a human. He’s had to pay out HUGE settlements in housing discrimination and sexual harassment cases. He also has a history of ridiculously offensive comments.

Donald Sterling has said he is not a racist. He’s been married since 1957. His mistress, V. Stiviano, was the one who released the audio. She is currently being sued by the Sterling family for the return of the more than $1.8 million of gifts that Donald has given her.

Snoop Dogg released a NSFW statement on his Instagram page that summed up how a lot of people feel about Sterling. The Clippers are in the middle of a playoff run. They wore their warmup jerseys inside-out in protest at their latest game.  Some fans also brought signs. Several other teams have also worn black socks in protest. The NBA has said it is investigating the matter but it is unclear how exactly they can sanction Sterling under the bylaws.  Dodgers’ outfielder Matt Kemp was mentioned in the extended tape. He addressed it by changing is walk-up music to Michael Jackson’s “Black or White”. State Farm announced today they won’t sponsor the Clippers as long as Sterling is the owner of the team.

 Woman sues teen she killed

There is no way this can stand, right? Sharlene Simon of Ontario was driving home around 1:30 AM one morning in October of 2012 when she hit three teenagers out on their bikes with her SUV. One teen died and one was severely injured. The father of the boy killed admits that the boys shouldn’t have been out that late but insists that the reflectors on the bikes would have been visible to Simon. Simon is seeking $1.35 million for her “psychological suffering”.

Poker player Dan Bilzerian does ridiculous things and posts them on Instagram. He has gained quite the following for it. He recently decided it was a good idea to throw a naked 19-year-old porn star off a roof into a pool. Here’s the video with the NSFW stuff blurred out. The model broke her foot and is considering suing Bilzerian.

Grichuk is a 22-year-old outfielder who has a history of injuries, but also some promise. Wong and Garcia were teammates at the University of Hawaii.
