KMOX Sports Correspondent Voting Opens

3324 days ago.

Local news radio juggernaut KMOX is running a contest, sponsored by Gold’s Gym, that will send one talented amateur sportscaster to Jupiter, Florida to talk Cardinals baseball.
Out of over 100 applicants, ten finalists have been named.

Ashley Green, a friend of RealLifeSTL, is again one of the ten finalists. As a professional, Ashley is the Human Resources Manager at local empire CoolFire Studios.

Ashley, the only female among the finalists, is the daughter of Bill Green, the longtime successful coach of the Herrin High School girls basketball team in southern Illinois.

Ashley attended Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. She worked at 103.5 ESPN where she was known as Ashley Foxx.

She is currently fifth in the voting. Here’s her audition tape.

Check out Ashley’s audition versus the rest of the finalists and if you think she deserves to join KMOX personalities Chris Hrabe and Tom Ackerman in covering the Cardinals at Spring Training, vote yourself and encourage your friends as well.

Vote for Ashley.

Ryan is a weird dude. He doesn't cook, yet owns a plethora of kitchen gadgets. He rationalized buying a SodaStream while unemployed. He counts Step Up 2: The Streets as one of his favorite movies along with Footloose, Rent, Grease and Paul Blart: Mall Cop. He loves Mizzou but only wants them in the SEC so he can tailgate in Nashville. He owns a ShakeWeight and AbLounger, but still loves him some John Donut and Billie's Fine Foods. You can get more of Ryan at or just check the stool on the far end of the bar at iTap in Soulard.
